Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia attacker, Ahmed Musa has taken another bold step in making the best of relaxed restrictions n the war against coronavirus, as he went for a game of golf with the governor of Plateau State, Barrister Simon Lalong, megasportsarena.com reports.
It was a return of sort to the roots for Musa, as he former Kano Pillars, VV Van Venlo of Holland, CSA Moscow of Russia and Leicester City of England star actually grew up in the Plateau State capital, Jos, and still returns to The Tin City for holidays.
Although he actually travelled straight to Abuja on arrival from his base in The Middle East at the onset of the lockdown occasioned by coronavirus, then had to write a public denial of being infected by the deadly respiratory disease on account of his compulsory 14-day self-isolation and quarantine, Musa has now shifted to Jos for the next stage of his forced holiday.
To make the best of his stay in the city where he grew up alongside John Mikel Obi, Victor Obinna Nsofor, Eddy Ogenyi Onazi and many other popular players of the present and past generations of Nigerian football, Musa has opted for time out on the golf course with the high and mighty of the state.
He showed as much when he took to social media to reveal how he was able to hobnob with Governor Lalong, even as they did not forget to observe adherence to safety measures against COVD-19, by allowing for physical distancing and had their protective face masks handy.
Musa some posted photographs of the moment and added: “Such an awesome time spent golfing with His Excellency, the Governor of Plateau state. You can still enjoy some time out while practicing social distancing and staying safe. This will soon be over Inshall Allah Folded hands @sblalong.”
