Glasgow Rangers of Scotland midfielder Joe Aribo says he can’t wait to play his first home game for Nigeria on Wednesday against the Squirrels of Benin Republic At the Nest of Champions in Uyo.
Aribo, who has been a shining light in the midfield since making his Super Eagles debut against Ukraine, looks forward to another good game and hopes to impress the home fans who will be watching him for the first time in Nigeria.
”I am not feeling any pressure ahead of the game, I am eager to play in front of our home fans. Nigeria is a football crazy nation. I can’t wait.
My wish for the game is a win and also a goal like I did in the last two games.”
Aribo will be making his third appearance in the colours of Nigeria after scoring in the first two games against Ukraine in Kyiv and the Selecao of Brazil in Singapore.
