Fernebahce of Turkey winger, Victor Moses is angling for a return to action in this weekend’s Turkish Super Lig clash with Denizlispor, almost two months after bowing to another bout of injury, but he is now back in full training with his teammates, megasportsarena.com reports.
Moses, who is on loan at Fernebahce from Chelsea of England in an 18-month deal, has been out of action since August with a muscle injury, but looks set to play again for The Yellow Canaries
In Sunday’s away fixture.
This comes after the former Super Eagles’ star suffered a muscle complaint during Fenerbahce’s 5-0 demolition of Olarewaju Kayode’s Gaziantep GK, after which he went on to miss seven of his Istanbul-based club’s matches.
However, the blight appears over for Moses, as Fener disclosed that the former England youth international has shaken off the strain and is back in training with Ersun Yanal’s squad, as they step up preparations for their trip to Denizli, ahead of which the winger’s fitness is essential.
Fenerbahce are searching for their first league title since 2014, with Galatasaray still champions after successfully defending their title last season, such that The Yellow Canaries will seek some additional firepower from 28-year-old Moses at Denizli Ataturk Stadium.
At present, the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium giants are fifth in the log with 11 points after seven outings, with two defeats, but the return of Moses could mark another turning point in their campaign, as it did when he first joined them from Chelsea mid-last season, then went on to score four goals in 14 appearances to help the side escape relegation and win the Turkish Cup.
