Odunayo Adekuoroye Wins 3rd Gold Medal In Commonwealth Games

Odunayo Adekuoroye has won her 3rd consecutive Commonwealth Games gold medal in wrestling and she did it in style on Friday, Megasportsarena.com reports. 

Adekuoroye outlasted India’s Anshu Malik 7-3 (VPO1) in the women’s 57kg Freestyle category, to secure Nigeria’s first gold medal in wrestling.

The Team Nigeria wrestler, who had a disappointing Olympics showing in Tokyo 2020, has now won gold medals in back-to-back editions of the Games- Glasgow 2014, Gold Coast 2018 and bow Birmingham 2022.
