Queens Park Rangers of England rave of the moment, Eberechi Eze has gained intense transfer attention from Tottenham Hotspur, as the English Premier League look to shore up their squad in the second half of the season, megasportsarena.com reports.
With former FC Porto, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Manchester United gaffer, Jose Mourinho now in charge of the squad, Spurs have embarked kn a massive talent hunt surge to stage a better challenge for the EPL title, and Eze is considered one of the lads they need.
With that in view, the top brass at Spurs are now working on a deal to sign the highly-rated midfielder, with the London club also said to be in formal discussions with QPR over a deal that would lead to a permanent transfer for the England under-21 international within the same city.
Added to the transfer package is a proposal that would see one or two current Spurs players join QPR, as Mourinho’s side aim to pull off all stops in order to hook Eze, who burst onto the scene during the 2017/18 season of the English Championship.
Since then, he has grown in stature, status and value, having his best season as a professional in the ongoing campaign, during which he already has nine goals in 22 starts and is regarded as one of the top young players in the Championship.’
The 21-year-old Eze, who has also been curried by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Melvin Amaju Pinnick for a switch in allegiance to play for the Super Eagles, has a contract that is expected to run with The Rs until June 2021.
Dreadlocks-wearing Eze, who was recently named by CIES Football Observatory as second best player of Nigerian descent in 35 European Leagues, is valued at 20m pounds, which would be the fee QPR would hope to get on him, but Spurs might prefer going a little lower than that.
