Arsenal of England youngster, Bukayo Saka could be on his way out of Emirates Stadium this summer, if reports in that direction turn out to be correct, megasportsarena.com reports.
In spite of stunning form from the versatile youngster since popping into The Gunners’ main team two seasons ago, reports out of Queensland indicate that the Nigerian-born England international could be on the move this summer.
This is reportedly sequel to financial constraints facing the coach, Mikel Arteta, and the Spanish soccer tactician, a former skipper of the London-based club, is said to be seriously considering cashing in on Saka to garner some needed funds at the end of this season.
A report by British newspaper, The Times added: “Arteta is desperate to bankroll a major summer splurge in the next transfer window but Arsenal are strapped for cash. It means they may have to sell Saka, who is one of the club’s most valuable assets.
“The 19-year-old has been a standout performer over the past two seasons for the Gunners and has led to strong interest in him. It is not a plan Arteta is keen on and is seen as a last resort but with Arsenal potentially missing out on European football, the chances are looking more likely.
“Matteo Guendouzi, Sead Kolasinac, Lucas Torreira, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Hector Bellerin, Calum Chambers, Eddie Nketiah, Rob Holding, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Nicolas Pepe are also on the chopping block.”
