Jordan Nwora Cited In Milwaukee Bucks’ NBA Play-offs Squad Roster

A member of Nigeria’s men’s basketball national team, D’Tigers, Jordan Nwora has been named among the players scheduled to feature for Milwaukee Bucks in the 2022 play-offs of USA’s National Basketball Association (NBA).

Although the son of D’Tigers’ assistant coach, Alex Nwora is not listed in The Bucks’ starting line-up and reserves, he expected to get a look-in along the line against Ayo Dosunmu’s Chicago Bulls.

Megasportsarena.com gathered that this means Nwora could play a pivotal role for the Milwaukee-based outfit in their quest for back-to-back NBA titles.

Named alongside Nwora are the Nigerian-born brothers, Giannis and Thanasis Adetokunbo (Antetokounmpo) in a roster that features core players from last season’s title-winning team as well as a mix of newcomers and veterans.

Expectations are already riding high ahead of the 2022 NBA playoffs, which start 5:30pm this Sunday for first-round series Game 1, with most odds staked on ‘The Greek Freak’ and Khris Middleton, who were all-stars in the past season.

Giannis, a 6-foot-11, 242 pounds, 27-year-old forward of Nigerian descent but plays for Greece, is set to start alongside Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Wesley Matthews and Brook Lopez, who is in his 14th year.

Also on The Bucks’ list are Bobby Portis, Pat Connaughton, Grayson Allen and Serge Ibaka, while Thanasis Antetokounmpo is a 6-foot-6, 219 pounds, 29-year-old Nigerian-born forward, who plays for Greece and is in his fourth year.

Connaughton (who shot 39.5%) and Portis (39.3%) celebrated a lot of three pointers throughout the season, which means they could get some game time ahead of Nwora in Milwaukee’s projected bench for 2022 NBA playoffs.
