Chievo Verona of Italy midfielder, Joel Chukwuma Obi netted his fourth goal of the current campaign in the Italian lower division, Serie B, as he got one of The Flying Donkeys’ sizzlers in a 4-2 loss away to Lecce, megasportsarena.com reports.
While Galatasaray of Turkey star, Henry Onyekuru spoke in glowing terms about his double delight with two goals and victory for his side in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday, Obi is back in the news with his own piece of cheer in The Land of The Auzzrri.
The former Super Eagles’ dazzler, who has previously played in the Italian Serie A with Inter Milan, Torino and AC Parma struck in the 22nd minute to make the scoreline 1-1 but, after netting his fourth goal in the Italian second division, he was substituted in the 46th minute.

The attacker on loan from AS Monaco of France has now admitted that he was thrilled with his team’s result against the Anatolian Star, while also acknowledging that it was very dramatic for him netting twice in eight minutes.
Onyekuru submitted: “There are such things in football. Sometimes you can’t start in the top 11 and score goals. I am very happy. We played a very important game where we needed to get three points.
“We played well and fought well. I’m very happy to contribute to my team in this way. Falcao’s assist and the goals I scored, all of which came together, produced a good win.
“The important thing was to contribute to my team here and get three points in this important game. I’m happy to do that.”
