Nigerian-born National Basketball Association (NBA) of America veteran, Andre Iguodala has reeled out several secrets of his former favourite teammate at Golden State Warriors, Steph Curry, who he says he loves like a brother.
Megasportsarena.com reports that, although Iguodala has moved on to pastures new, following another heroic run with Golden State last season, the former Warriors forward is moving on with fond memories of how he got on well with Curry, especially in their title-winning surges of two seasons past.
He repeatedly said the two-time NBA most valuable player is the second-best point guard of all-time, behind only Magic Johnson, and he disclosed after Game 2 of last season’s Finals against Toronto Raptors that he will always support anything that protects Curry’s legacy.
Now their paths have been separated by circumstances, especially with age telling on Iguodala and pushing him closer to retirement, the 35-year-old Nigerian-born star is singing Curry’s praises, with his latest eulogies for the American talent coming during a radio interview.
Iguodala said on Hot 97: “Steph’s got something else. Anybody seen ‘The Accountant?’ Steph’s like that. He’s good at everything. Hand-eye coordination. He probably could shoot somebody from 1,000 feet away.
“I’ve seen him throw darts. I’ve seen him bowl like 250. Ping-pong. Golf, he could play pro in real life. He can throw a fastball 80 miles per hour, right down the middle. He’s got this hand-eye thing that’s freakish.”
