Shanghai Shenhua of China striker, Odion Jude Ighalo has cited hard work and total devotion to labour as the key to his continues goals scoring form with the Chinese Super League outfit, megasportsarena.com reports.
After netting another goal for his team in midweek, Ighalo said he is happy that his form is still going strong, despite his age and a spate of recent injuries, but acknowledged further that his ability to stay focused, remain dedicated to club activities and being able to discipline himself off the pitch are helping him stay on top.
He stated as much after hitting target in a 3-1 loss by his club against visiting Jiangsu Suning and, though he admitted it was painfully losing the Chinese Super League encounter at home, he is still picking positives from the impact he continues making on a personal level.
In the wake of the encounter at Hongkou Stadium on Wednesday afternoon, the 30-year-old 2019 Africa Cup of Nation top scorer added that he was glad to hit home his 11th goal of the season from the penalty spot in the 42nd minute.
