FC Cologne of Germany attacker, Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure has missed out on a likely €18m transfer to Arsenal of England, as officials at his parent team, Club Brugge of Belgium opted not to strike a deal with The Gunners.
However, while Brugge opted instead to send Bonaventure on loan to Koln, who paid €1m for his six month deal, Arsenal are reportedly still keen on returning with a new bid, as The Gunners are continuously keeping eyes on the former Ukraine-based attacker-cum-winger, in spite of their inability to hook him last summer.
German publication, BILD added: “Arsenal had an €18m offer for the Nigeria international turned down by Club Brugge and was sent away to Koln in January. The 23 year-old has continued to be tracked by the Gunners this season and a new bid could be made at season’s end. “
