The trio of Fatai Amao, Kabiru Dogo and Mohammed Baba Ganaru has emerged as favourites for the coaching position at Wikki Tourists.
One of the three coaches is expected to replace Abdu Maikaba, who announced his departure from the Bauchi club at the end of his contract despite guiding them to a top-three finish in the Nigeria top division last term.
The club met with Baba Ganaru, on Thursday to discuss possible terms and working modalities.
Amao, was an assistant coach with the Nigeria under-23s at the Olympic Games in Brazil, and Dogo are also expected to meet with Wikki management today (Friday) and Saturday to talk about their intentions for the club.
