SSC Napoli of Italy striker, Victor Osimhen is targeting the continuation of scoring form and winning momentum for his club when The Partenopei face Wisla Krakow of Poland in their final pre-season game on Tuesday.
Osimhen is in vibrant spirit heading into the encounter at Stadion Miejski im Henryka Reymana, as he slotted home twice in the Naples-based side’s 3-0 away win in their last pre-season game against Bayern Munich of Germany.
Megasportsarena.com reports that he is also looking beyond Tuesday’s fixture against Krakow towards the commencement of competitive action in the Italian Serie A, as Napoli will open their 2021/22 campaign at home against Venezia on August 22.
The game will come three days after Osimhen has expressed sheer delight with his ability to kep scoring for the Italian Serie A club and to help them maintain their winning momentum in pre-season.
He declared as much after slotting home two goals against Bayern and helped his side snatch an unexpected away win at Allianz Arena, where the 22-year-old lad was rated outstanding for La Partenopei.
Osimhen ensured that his side stole a shock win in Munich, where they played in an exciting encounter dubbed Audi Football Summit, with the Super Eagles lad shooting straight into the highlights after he opened scoring in the 69th minute, when Bayern gave away the ball in their own half and he doubled the advantage two minutes later.
The product of Ultimate Strikers Football Academy of Lagos, who has previously played for WfL Wolfsburg of Germany, Sporting Charleroi of Belgium and Lille Metropole of France, scored two of three goals netted by his side against The Bavarians.
Before his brace on Saturday, Osimhen had already netted five goals in two pre-season outings, and he continued his majestic surge by putting The Blues ahead after he was set up by Algeria’s Adam Ounas, then scored his second with an assist from the same player.
