Spartak Moscow of Russia out-of-favour winger, Victor Moses has come under verbal attack from the Russian Premier League club’s former president, Andrei Chervichenko, who believes the star on loan from Chelsea of England does not deserve a full contract with his team.
Megasportsarena.com gathered that, at a point Spartak appear to be in a dilemma over what options to give Moses heading into the last stretch of the season, Chervichenko has spoken out bold to condemn the winger’s loan deal, which includes a permanent option.
Moses has failed to hit things off during his time on loan from on-loan from Chelsea to Spartak this season, with the deal including a permanent option reportedly worth €3m, but top shots at the Moscow-based club are dragging feet on a decision for the winger-cum-wing-back.
It means uncertainty lingers over the future of the once-fearsome winger, who played over the past season also on loan at both Fernebahce of Turkey and Inter Milan of Italy, but is likely to finally end his tipsy-turvy romance with Chelsea this summer.
While admitting that the club is yet to arrive at a verdict on the player’s fate, Spartak’s media executive, Anton Fetisov told Sport-Express: “So far we have not discussed the possible signing of Moses.
“The head coach will decide on Victor, it’s too early to talk about it. We will raise the issue of the buy option only at the end of the season.”
Chervichenko added: “We need to see how the situation will develop. If the amount for Moses is more than three million, then it’s a laugh. Since Victor does not show anything extraordinary. Spartak has enough of its own talents, which, with a certain level of trust, will play no worse.
“I think that Moses does not see the RPL as a place to give all his best. He is about 30 years old, calmly, without straining, finishing the game in Russia, the money is paid. He will live and rejoice.”
