Chelsea of England youngster, Faustino Anjorin (Tino) is set to get an official confirmation of his new contract with The Blues, with an announcement bound to be made at Stamford Bridge within the coming days, megasportsarena.com reports.
Anjorin has been in tremendous form this season, with sterling roles for The Blues’ under-23 squad, which have earned him a handful of appearances with the main team, the biggest of which came for him as a substitute against Everton in the English Premier League.
With a number of clubs suddenly expressing interest in signing the Nigerian-born attacking midfielder, Chelsea are now on the brink of confirming a new deal for the youngster and, thereby, seal his future to the club in a fresh multi-year contract.
Information on offer from the London-based club indicates that Anjorin’s new contract is done and dusted, with high expectations now rife that it could be announced this week, thus putting an end to speculation surrounding his future.
Chelsea have opted to move fast to consolidate their hold on Anjorin, with Manchester City, Manchester United, Norwich City, Liverpool and Arsenal said to be monitoring the powerful box-to-box midfielder, who is also comfortable being deployed as a winger.
He indeed played as a winger when he made his EPL debut off the bench against Everton in March, which followed his earlier other appearance for Chelsea’s first team this season against Grimsby Town, when he made his professional bow and often trains with the first team stars.
The Poole-born starlet, who officially joined Chelsea before his ninth birthday and signed his first professional contract with The Blues in November 2018, is already a key player in England’s under-19 squad, as his values continues soaring on all fronts.
