Super falcons forward Asisat Oshoala has assured Nigerians that the Super Falcons are not under any pressure to win the African Women’s Cup of Nations title for the tenth time as the 2016 edition kicks off in Cameroon in November.
She said “We are currently rebuilding a new team under a new coach and I believe we’re more like the underdogs going into the tournament, which makes us freer to express ourselves on the pitch.”
“The coach is gradually instilling her ideas on the team and I’m confident we will not disappoint.”
The Africa Women Cup of Nations finals hold from 19 November to 3 December in Cameroon.
Nigeria will play Ghana, Kenya and Mali in Group B.
