ROHR PRAISES IWOBI’S PRE-SEASON FORM

Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has praised the form being displayed by Arsenal attacker, Alex Iwobi in pore-season matches with the London-based English Premier League side.
Speaking against the backdrop of Iwobi’s stunning goal for The Gunners against Benfica last weekend, Rohr said he is impressed that the youngster is stepping up and urged other Nigerian players to follow suit.
Rohr said the entire Eagles’ players need to accelerate their pre-season form to the level that Iwobi has attained before they turn up for their World Cup qualifying clash with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon on September 1 in Uyo.
Rohr urged all his players to raise their game during pre-season to get the nod to play against Cameroon next month, and admitted that he was impressed by Iwobi’s super goal for Arsenal against Benfica in the Emirate Cup on Saturday.
