Osimhen’s Summer Transfer Speculation Tagged ‘Ridiculous’ By Agent

SSC Napoli of Italy striker, Victor Osimhen has found another angle added to ongoing speculation about his future with the Italian Serie A club, as his agent has tagged all transfer permutations round him as ‘ridiculous’ talk.

Megasportsarena.com reports that Osimhen has found himself entwined in more confusion over a likely summer exit from the Italian Serie A club, but the player’s agent, Roberto Calenda says the player is not thinking about moving on.

With Newcastle United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United of England all reportedly seeking Osimhen’s signature, the transfer mill is abuzz with tips over which of the English Premier League outfits he may opt for.

However, Napoli president, Aurelio de Laurentiis also declared emphatically that the Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup top scorer is not for sale, stressing that the Pales-base side will not even let go of the 23-year-old at any price.

He went on to declare that the former Ultimate Strikers of Lagos, VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, Sporting Charleroi of Belgium and Lille Metropole of France hitman will not leave Napoli this summer.

The Napoli supremo stressed that Osimhen remains very much in the club’s plans for next season, as they will again focus on winning the Scudetto with the young striker, who has scored 16 goals in 21 starts this season

De Laurentiis submitted: “I don’t want to waste time talking about this, the situation is ridiculous. Just move on and talk about football.

“Osimhen is a young striker and with the right tips, his development is natural.”

Osimhen’s agent echoed the view expressed by De Laurentiis, adding that his ward is now fully settled in Naples, where he has developed a close bond with other players and colleagues at the club.

Calenda told Football Italia: “I don’t want to waste time talking about this, the situation is ridiculous. Just move on and talk about football.

“There are no problems. Victor has already proved his close bond with this club.

“Osimhen is a young striker and with the right tips, his development is natural.”
