Galatasaray of Turkey returnee, Henry Onyekuru missed the flight that was meant to take him back to the club he rejoined early this week on loan from AS Monaco of France, but he will go ahead with his unveiling this weekend, megasportsarena.com reports.
Onyekuru is set for a third spell with the Istanbul-based side, where he initially played in a full transfer from Everton of England three seasons ago, then returned on loan from Monaco last season and is back to roost once again.
In his third spell back with the Yellow & Gold, the former KAS Eupen and RSC Anderlecht of Belgium star will earn 600,000 euro, ahead of which the 23-year-old winger-cum-attacker flew out of out from Marseille, France and is expected to land in Istanbul on Friday after missing his flight.
Onyekuru has been top of the wish list of Galatasaray’s coach, Fatih Terim, who has agreed to give another chance for a career revival after the star struggled to establish himself at Monaco, who insisted on a clause that the Turkish Super Lig side will be obliged to buy him permanently after his latest loan stint expires, but both clubs eventually agreed a middle ground.
