Watford’s Nigerian-born striker, Stefano Chuka Okaka appears to be on his way back to the country of his birth, as The Hornets want to get another deal from him in Italy before the European transfer window loses on Monday.
With hours ticking away ahead of the deadline day in this summer transfer window, Okaka could be heading for a deal at Serie A midstream club, Lecce, in another loan deal outside Vicarage Road.
The dark-skinned former Italy international, who has also starred for Fulham in England and last season played on loan at Udinese has now been on the table or another loan deal early in the week, which could see him join Lecce.
A report by TMW revealed that the Serie A newcomers are keen on getting Okaka, who is currently back in England, but Watford boss, Javi Gracia does not have the striker in his plans for the season.
However, Watford have also opened further channels of options for Okaka at other Serie A clubs as he is being offered to Serie A clubs, as Lecce also have other alternatives under consideration.
