Barely four months after the exit of Eberechi Eze from Queens Park Rangers to Crystal Palace in the English Premier League, his place at Loftus Park has been taken almost directly by another Nigerian-born youngster, megasportsarena.com reports.
The new lad to flaunt at QPR is fast-rising winger, Odysseus Alfa, who grew up in Kaduna but has since become a prospect for England’s youth national teams and has now committed his future to the English Championship club.
The 21-year-old Alfa ended speculation about his future after putting pen to paper on a four-year deal with The Hoops and the budding winger, who has been with QPR since the age of 14, is now keen on stepping up, even as he remembers that it was not too long ago when he was playing non-league football before his move to the London-based side.
His previous agreement with QPR was due to expire at the end of this season but, having turned out to be a key player for the club’s under-23 squad, the youngster, who previously spent time on loan at CD Atlético Baleares, Billericay and Maidenhead United to gain first team experience, was handed a first team squad number before the start of the season.
