Bayern Munich of Germany youngster, Joshua Orobosa Zirkzee still stands a glorious chance of joining Alex Iwobi at Everton of England, as The Toffees have confirmed that they are still very much interested in making a move for the Nigerian-born lad, megasportsarena.com reports.
Although some cold water has been poured over earlier frenetic reports linking Zirkzee with a move to Goodison Park, latest information in that regard revealed that top brass at Iwobi’s club are still keen on a deal with Bayern for the youngster.
The report out of Merseyside adds that Everton are still in discussions with Bayern Munich over a deal for the 19-year-old Zirkzee, who has four goals in 17 appearances for the UEFA Champions League holders, but he has been restricted to just three German Bundesliga appearances during the ongoing campaign.
A report of out of Queensland added that Everton were on the verge of signing the teenager on loan, with the deal also including the option of a permanent deal at the end of the season, but Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano has now disclosed that Carlo Ancelotti’s side remain in talks with the Bundesliga giants over a move for Zirkzee.
Romano, however, added that another Italian side, AC Parma are also in the hunt for the bubbly attacker’s signature, but the Holland under-21 international still has a contract that will keep on running at Allianz Arena until the summer of 2023.
