Former Liverpool winger, Jordon Ibe is at the end of his mouth-watering £15m contract at fellow-English Premier League club, Bournemouth, which he joined from The Reds four years ago, megasportsarena.com reports.
Ibe arrived at Bournemouth from Liverpool in 2016 with so much promise, but he subsequently struggled for form and could not get a place in The Cherries’ mainstream all this while and often missed out of their matchday squads for a long spell, to the extent that he could not even play a single EPL game since August.
However, Ibe is not the only senior player heading out of Bournemouth this month end, as the club also revealed that former England striker, Jermain Defoe and fellow-veteran, Ryan Fraser will leave the club when their contracts expire next week.
Defoe has already agreed to join Glasgow Rangers of Scotland in a permanent deal, having spent the past 18 months on loan at Ibrox, Fraser turned down the offer of a contract extension and Ibe has also been in the midst of summer transfer news of recent; with links at Celtic of Scotland as well as Newcastle United and Crystal Palace of England.
Also leaving Bournemouth along with Ibe are two of the club’s academy players, Tyrell Hamilton and Charlie Seaman, but the Nigerian-born former Liverpool protégé is considered bigger than them all young players on the cards of those who are set to leave Vitality Stadium next week.
