Bournemouth of England winger, Jordon Ibe has admitted that he needs a major breakthrough in his career, but insists he has no regrets over time he spent on loan with The Cherries from English Premier League rivals, Liverpool, megasportsarena.com reports.
With Bournemouth opting out of an opportunity to extend his loan deal beyond this season, Ibe is heading back to Anfield almost empty handed, but the Nigerian-born lad says he has nothing to complain about.
Rather than feel disillusioned with his struggles so far, starting with his early days at Liverpool and this season with Bournemouth, things look torrid for Ibe, but he believes he can still make it big in England’s top flight league.
As he prepares to leave Dean Court at the end of next month, Ibe declared that he will put in more effort to finally get his breakthrough at his next port of call, even as he stressed that he has no regrets with how his career has played out so far.
Ibe, who joined Bournemouth for £15m from Liverpool last summer, was defiant in his general assessment of his strides so far, declaring that he only needs to apply more effort and rearrange himself, as he declared during a Twitter Q&A: “No regrets, just need to apply myself.”
