Hapoel Beer-Sheva midfielder John Ogu will hope to make his call up in the Super Eagles count ahead of the November 12 2018World Cup qualifier against Algeria in Uyo.
Ogu who is in line to make his first appearance under new boss, Gernot Rohr, says he feels blessed to be considered for the crucial game.
Ogu tweeted “So proud to have been called up to the national squad to represent my country. I feel honoured and blessed to be chosen. I hope I can repay the faith.”
The Nigerian international who could make his 16th appearance for the Super Eagles is expected to arrive camp on the 7th of November.
The 28 year old midfielder last featured for the three time African champions in their 2-0 win over Chad in an AFCON qualifier 16 months ago.
