J.Atete FC has said they will appeal their controversial 2-1 loss in the game against ABS FC in a continued Nigeria National League match played in Abuja.
The original clash in Sapele was abandoned following crowd trouble and the remaining 11 minutes of the match was played on Wednesday in Abuja with ABS winning courtesy of a controversial penalty awarded them.
The club owner said “We do not accept this result and we will protest.”
“I have never seen this type of injustice. It happened in my home match in Sapele and it happened here again.
“If it means going to FIFA, I will.
“Thank God I have my evidence, the video clip of the match,” He said.
The win pushes ABS within a match of a sensational return to the premier league.
