Ishaq Kayode Rafiu begins training today with his new teammates at NK Maribor after he was unveiled by the Slovenian champions on Tuesday (yesterday), following his agreement of a three-year deal with the club.
Rafiu moved to the Slovenian giants from Rivers United, where he scored 14 goals for the Nigeria Professional Football League Champions last season.
“I’m excited to be here finally. It took a very long time, but I am happy that I became part of @nkmaribor.
“This is indeed another step in my journey to be a great player, I will give my best and help my team to achieve greatness. 💜💪🏾.” He tweeted after his unveiling on Tuesday.
