Galatasaray of Turkey summer loan signing from Stoke City of England, Oghenekaro Etebo has enthused that he is already settling down fast at his new base in the Turkish Super Lig and declared that he is happy to continue getting a rapid adaptation process with each passing day.
Megasportsarena.com reports that the 24-year-old former Warri Wolves of Delta State, Feirense of Portugal as well as ex-Las Palmas and Getafe of Spain battle said he is happy to see himself settling down well in the Turkish capital and already picking plenty of positives at his new base.
While expressing hope that he will get even a lot more familiar with the fans at Galatasaray as the season unfolds, Etebo admitted he was thrilled to get a decent start to life with the former Turkish champions, despite missing his first game due to fitness issues.
He quickly shook that off and went on to enact a man of the match performance on his first start, with statistics showing a combined time of 128 minutes for him so far in the Super Lig, he completed an average of 91% passes, won 71% of his duels and completed 100% of his take-ons.
Etebo told the Istanbul-based Lig club’s website: “I am getting better step by step. It’s not easy coming to a new team. I feel that my adaptation process is getting better every day. I think it will be even better.”
