Ex- Green Eagles captain and Former Super Eagles coach, Chairman Christian Ckukwu has reigning champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League, Enugu Rangers not to get carried away for winning the NPFL title after 32 years, but rather concentrate on retaining the league next season.
Chukwu, who is presently the technical director of the Enugu Rangers, further states that it is not enough to qualify for the continent which has been lacking from the reigning league champions, but to make their presence count by getting to the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League or cause an upset by winning the trophy.
He spoke on Etisalat Megasports a daily programme on Star fm,Lagos ‘’ We (Enugu Rangers) will ensure they get quality players in the transfer market that will help fortify the team as they prepare to represent the country on the continent and also retain the league.’’
