AGBO’S PAL TIPS CAMEROON TO BEAT NIGERIA

2

Standard Liege of Belgium new signing, Uche Agbo’s teammate, Collins Fai is tipping Cameroon to beat Nigeria in September’s back-to-back crackers in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
Though he admits that both matches – September 1 in Uyo and September 4 in Yaoundé – will not be easy, the Liege defender has told Agbo that Nigeria will fall to his side and lose grip of the group’s leadership.
Nigeria top the qualifying group for Russia 2018 with six points, while Cameroon are second on two points, while Zambia and Algeria have a point apiece.

While Portugal-based Mikel Agu is another Eagles star with a Cameroon teammate at FC Porto, Vincent Aboubakar, pocket-sized Fai, who has also played in Romania, is now leading the battle cry against Nigeria.
Agbo revealed that Fai, who was outstanding at right back when Cameroon won the 2017 AFCON in Gabon, predicted that Indomitable Lions will first hold the Eagles to a draw in Uyo, before they win the reverse leg in Cameroon to get their qualification hope back on track.
“Fai is one of my close friends at Standard Liege and he has been very boastful that Cameroon will get at least four points off us in the World Cup qualifiers,” Agbo told SCORENigeria
“He has predicted they will draw with us in Uyo before they beat us at their home.”
