Russia-based Nigerian-born central defender Adessoye Oyewole has received clearance from the East European country’s league authorities for him to rejoin FC Orenburg for a second spell, following a previous stint from 2013 to 2019, megasportsarena.com reports.
The Moscow-born center back, who played 173 matches and 12 goals with Oenburg during his first time there, will now aim for better pickings, after the office at Russian Football National League revealed his clearance through their official website.
It is a massive lift for the 38-year-old Oyewole, who won the Russian Football National League title three times with Ural Yekaterinburg and Orenburg, while also having previously starred for Zhemchuzhina Sochi, FC Reutov and Sibir Novosibirsk.
The veteran defender, who spent his formative years with Torpedo-ZIL Moscow and Nika Moscow, has already started training with his new teammates at their training camp in Turkey, following which he will aim to step up from his log of 12 matches in the Russian Premier League in the current season with FC Tambov and was in action for 861 minutes.
