The Commissioner of Youth and Sports in Oyo state, Yomi Oke has said that things will be put in place to ensure that disclosed that Gbenga Ogunbote will be handed a new contract ahead of the new Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Oke said “I want to assure all Oyo State indigenes and particularly fans of 3SC that Ogunbote will still be in charge of our darling club next season. We are doing everything possible to keep him and since he has told us that he would like to continue working with us if his conditions are met, we are ready to do.
“He submitted his technical report for the past season some weeks ago and this is currently being studied by the management of the club towards ensuring that 3SC come back with a big bang next season.”
