The women’s national team, Super Falcons’ star clocked 20 on Tuesday and, though she had to celebrate the moment in subdued manner, due to prevailing coronavirus restrictions at her Scandinavian base, the former FC Robo Queens of Lagos lass was elated with the avalanche of goodwill messages she received.
Born December 8, 199, Ajibade has been on fire since moving fro FC Robo Quens to play in Norway’s Toppserien, where she has been refined and become deadlier than ever.
She represented Nigeria at age grade competitions, before making her competitive debut for the senior team at the 2018 WAFU Cup in Côte d’Ivoire, and she was named first in a top 10 list of most promising young footballers on the African continent by Goal.com in 2017.
With the felicitations and encomiums flowing in fast and wide from various locations across the world, Ajibade admitted she was highly excited to be remembered by many people from various walks of life and disclosed how grateful she was.
