Racing Genk of Belgium attacker, Paul Ebere Onuachu has reaffirmed his loyalty to the club and assured that he is good harmony with all his teammates, who he declared will continue having his love and support in the task of taking the club higher.
Megasportsarena.com reports that Onuachu was speaking against the backdrop of his heated disagreement with Genk teammate, Theo Bongonda over who should take a penalty against KAS Eupen on Wednesday, which drew critical comments from the club’s coach, John van den Brom.
While the coach admitted he was disappointed by the development and quickly met with both players to settle what he described as a shameful incident, Onuachu, who has so far scored 19 goals and is top of the Belgian league’s overall chart, assured tha the issue has been put to rest with Bongonda, who has 11 goals to his name.
The former FC Midtjylland of Denmark towering striker went on to warmly declare that he is back on solid terms with Bongonda and assured that the argument between them was only one that erupted in the heat of action but is now a thing of the past.
Onuachu made this disclosure with a post on social media, which he accompanied with a photo of him and Bongonda celebrating a goal together and he added: “I will keep fighting for him and the team. Brothers argue sometimes too. Love you bro @paulebere.”
