Reading of England youngster, Michael Olise has admitted he is truly delighted that he has been able to hit top form with The Royals so far this season in the English Championship, and went on to declare that he hopes to continue churning out sparkling feats with the club, megasportsarena.com reports.
Speaking in the wake of his emergence as English Football League (EFL) Young Player of the Month for December, the 19-year-old attacking midfielder acknowledged that his top form, which earned him a tally of two goals and two assists last month, has set him up for rave reviews and widespread commendations.
The youngster, who has featured 24 times across all competitions for Reading, with an overall total of four goals and eight assists in the process, is reportedly attracting interest from Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Leicester City of England as well as AC Milan of Italy.
His latest feat was a wonder goal against Queens Park Rangers, which further underscored his invaluable position with The Royals, who are now fifth in the English Championship, and the Nigerian-born French youth international confessed that all the hype coming his way has left him stunned, but quickly added gratitude for all support he is getting from his teammates and coach.
Olise told EFL’s official website: “It’s very good for me. I feel like I’m in good form at the moment. It’s definitely been a good first half of the season for us. We’ve just been doing what the manager wants us to do and we’ve been playing well so it’s a good position to be in.”
