Trabzonspor of Turkey midfielder, Eddy Ogenyi Onazi has stated delight with his return to full fitness, after almost a year out injured, and says he is already working hard to return to the high level of high performance he had before going for surgery, megasportsarena.com reports.
After starring in his first appearance since December of 2018, Onazi said he 3was happy to come through in Wednesday’s friendly against Bursaspor and, although the game against Shehu Abdullahi’s club ended goalless, the Super Eagles’ former vice-captain said he is now setting his sight fully on set his sights on getting back to his best form.
The former SS Lazio of Italy schemer added that he is also keen on helping his Trabzon-based side win this season’s Turkish Super Lig race with Trabzonspor, as he now wants to focus only on the positives of his recovery and do everything to uplift the team till end to the season.
Onazi told AOIFootball.com: “Glory be to God Almighty. New beginning. I have objectives for the year and unfinished business with my and club is to battle for the title. We are on course for that and I am working so hard to get to the level I was before my injury. This is my priority for now.”
