Shanghai Greenland Shenhua of China striker, Odion Jude Ighalo has received another tempting offer to stay put outside the base of his parent club, as teams in Qatar and Saudi Arabia are reportedly keen on singing him, megasportsarena.com reports.
With his current loan deal coming to a close at Manchester United of England at the end of this month, talk has been on about Ighalo moving to another club in England, rather than return to Shanghai, but the option of linking forces with money-spinning teams in the Middle East has now popped up as well.
Details of the report by Sky Sports indicate that Ighalo is attracting fervid interest from Qatar and Saudi Arabia, with several clubs in both countries said to be showing keen interest in signing the former Super Eagles’ striker, who moved to Old Trafford on loan from Shenhua in January 2020 and got an extension to the deal in June.
However, with that extension now billed to end this month, talk is spreading over the next port of call for Ighalo, who has only played nine minutes this season in the EPL, yet two clubs in the English top-flight have also reportedly made enquiries about getting his services this month.
