Nigeria’s youth national team, Flying Eagles’ head coach, Isah Ladan Bosso will this Thursday roll out his final list of players selected to represent the country at this year’s West African Football Union (WAFU) B zonal qualifiers for next year’s African U-20 Cup of Nations Benin Republic.
Megasportsarena.com reports that the zonal qualifiers are also expected to kick-off next week in Cotonou, Benin Republic, ahead of which Bosso has put finishing touches to his preparations and will on Thursday name his squad to prosecute he competition, in which his side are in Group B along with Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire.
Towards that end, Bosso has already dropped six more players ahead of the announcement of the final squad, with one of those axed being under-17 national team, Golden Eaglets former midfielder, Hassan Hussein, who also failed to make the list to the U17 AFCON in Tanzania.
Bosso is now expected to name his final squad for the zonal qualifiers on Thursday, which is the deadline for submission of all competitors at the WAFU B qualifiers, which will start December 5, with the Flying Eagles opening their campaign the following day against Cote d’Ivoire.
