Kano Pillars FC have received a goodwill message heading into their CAF Confederations Cup fixture with ASC Jaraaf of Senegal, which they will tango this Saturday in Dakar, megasportsarena.com reports.
The goodwill message, laced with prayers for safe journey to and from Dakar as well as great expectations of success and hope for good luck propelling the team to a favourable result was issued by The City of Groundnut Pyramids club’s media unit.
The message added that the four-time Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions are expected to get victory in the preliminary round first leg fixture on Sunday, ahead of which Sai Masu Gida contingent left their base on Friday morning aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
They arrived Dakar three and a half-hour later, after which The Pride of Kano settled down into their hotel lodgings, with their focus fully set on dislodging their hosts at the 20, 000 capacity Stade Demba Diop in Dakar, Senegal.
The club’s media unit has now come out with a heartwarming declaration of hope for good luck in Saturday’s game, in order for the squad to get a decent result ahead of the return leg in The Crocodile City, Kaduna next weekend.
