Bristol City forward Antoine Semenyo is a major doubt for Ghana’s 2022 World Cup qualifying playoff tie against the Super Eagles of Nigeria next week.
Megasportsarena.com reports that the striker was substituted just six minutes into Bristol City’s 2-2 draw against West Brom after he cupped an injury.
He had been a doubt for the English Championship match on Saturday, having picked up a knock in midweek in the defeat against Bristol City.
Although he was declared fit, many had expected him to start from the bench with Bristol City coach Nigel Pearson criticised for the player’s injury.
