Setback For Ghana As In-form Daniel Kofi Kyereh Is Injured

Ghana could be without in-form attacker Daniel Kofi Kyereh as they tackle the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday for the first leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff tie after the attacker failed to show up for the Black Stars final training on Thursday.

The player missed training over a suspected thigh injury. His thigh was strapped with ice after Wednesday’s training session.

Kyereh has scored 11 goals and assisted 10 this season for St Pauli who are pushing for Bundesliga promotion.

Megasportsarena.com can confirm that another Bmack Stars player, midfielder Edmund Addo has returned to his club, FC Sheriff of Moldova after he sustained an injury in training.

Twenty-five players trained including Jordan Ayew who arrived in the country on Thursday morning after recovering from coronavirus infection.
