William Troost-Ekong is back in England to continue his treatment after sustaining injury in the Super Eagles game against the Algerian team B on Friday.
The defender tweeted after arriving London, wishing his teammates all the best tomorrow.
“Unfortunately I picked up something in our game against Algeria last Friday. Back home now to sort it out. All the best to the boys on Tuesday.”
Nigeria play Algeria in Oran 8pm on Tuesday as both countries continue their buildup to next year’s Africa Cup of Nations Qualifying Matches.
