AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori was happy to score in their friendly win against Vicenza. Tomori is pleased with his preseason form this summer.
He said, “We started badly, but then we got back into the game strongly.
“We are excited for the first Serie A match and we hope to start strong. The goal? We worked well on corners and free-kicks. I’m happy with the goal, it’s something I want to improve for this year.
“I am happy for the goal and for the victory. Missed clean sheet? We know that we are not perfect, when there are mistakes we can improve. We started badly but it is something we can improve.
“The exultation with (Rafael) Leao? Just an American dance (laughs). I saw that Rafa did it and so we did it together. We have been together for several years, we are a family. Obviously when we win there is more enthusiasm in the locker room. We are happy and so am I.”
