AC Milan of Italy may eventually keep hold of Fikayo Tomori at the end of his current loan spell from Chelsea of England and the Nigerian-born stopper could decide not to make a return to Stamford Bridge.
Megasportsarena.com gathered that this is the verdict of former Italy defender, Pietro Vierchowod, who affirmed his support or Tomori to make a bigger mark with Milan next season.
The Canada-born England international’s loan at The San Siro ends with the outgoing season, with The Rosoneri facing an option of buying him outright for €28m, but Vierchwood believes the dark-skinned lad will not return to London.
While also declaring that Milan must continue with their current coach, Stefano Pioli, in order to continue their recent ascent, Vierchowod told TMW: “I like Tomori, he still has to learn to score. If he learns these things he will become an excellent defender.”
“(Pioli) did well, he took a team that was not in good shape and also took it to the top of the table. For me it was a fourth-fifth place team but he took it to the top, with a lot of praise for him. He’s done too much with this team.”
