Two England-based Nigerian-born youngster, Dele Alli of Tottenham Hotspur and Fikayo Tomori are both entwined in controversial transfer speculations, which has put their futures at their respective clubs in doubt beyond this year.
Megasportsarena.com reports that, with the January transfer window looming large, Alli and Tomori are both already enjoying heated speculations, with both youngsters looking very likely to leave their current bases on loan next month.
This is mostly due to the fact that they have both lost their first team spots with the two London-based English Premier League clubs, and several options are already popping up in favour of both England internationals within and outside the country.
ESPN reports that Tomori is being linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge alongside fellow-centre-back, Antonio Rudiger, few months after both players were close to leaving The Blues in the summer window but they eventually ended up staying put.
However, Chelsea coach, Frank Lampard has since preferred Thiago Silva and Kurt Zouma as his central defenders, meaning Tomori has not played since September 29, while Rudiger has only three outings this season.
Tomori, who played under Lampard last season with Derby County in the English Championship, is now likely to leave on loan once again, while Rudiger could leave permanently, but Spurs are yet to make a final a decision regarding the short term future of Alli.
Alli is currently down the pecking order with Jose Mourinho at the helm, and the former Milton Keynes Don youngster has rarely started an EPL game, despite enjoying some time during fixtures of the UEFA Europa League.
A report by Football Insider has now disclosed that the 24-year-old is not for sale in the January transfer window, but Spurs’ club chairman, Daniel Levy is willing to listen to loan offers.
That option could see Alli could get a short term deal that would keep him in the spotlight leading up to Euro 2020 and the summer window – depending on the injury situation with his team in January.
