Scottish Premier League side ST JOHNSTONE have snapped up former Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose.
Callum Davidson swooped for the ex-Celtic man following the loss of skipper Jason Kerr to Wigan in the final hours of deadline day.
With Liam Gordon injured, the Saints gaffer felt he needed more experience in his back line – and Ambrose fits the bill.
The 32 year old former Nigeria international knows the SPFL inside out from his time with the Hoops, Hibs and, latterly, Livingston.
He has been a free agent since leaving the Lions after a 18-month stint at Almondvale this summer.
Ambrose will go straight into the Saints squad to face Glasgow Rangers on Saturday and could even make a debut against his Old Firm foes.
