Crystal Palace striker Freddie Ladapo is keen to extend his stay with Oldham Athletic.
His loan deal is due to end next month.
Ladapo, born in Romford, England is a powerful and robust forward who at youth level scored close to a goal a game.
He made appearances on loan and work experience for teams including Chelmsford City, Thurrock and Bishop’s Stortford during his progression through Colchester United’s Academy.
He joined Premier League club Crystal Palace March 2016 on a two-and-a-half-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The Nigerian-born player says it’s all in the hands of the manager to decide.
“I am hoping that the manager takes the view of it that he does want to keep me for longer,” he said.
“It’s all down to whether he wants me. If he does, then that would be great.”
