Villarreal of Spain winger, Samuel Chukwueze is again facing a dilemma of choice in his next transfer focus, as pressure is being mounted on him by four top clubs in England and the country where he currently plies his trade, megasportsarena.com reports.
While many observers would have thought Chukwueze would jump at the opportunity of joining forces with Real Madrid of Spain, who reports indicated at the start of this week have launched a move for him, the youngster is already being tempted with juicy options from the English Premier League trio of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.
All three clubs have a strong Nigerian tradition in their histories, such that Chukwueze could fancy his chances of making his mark in any of them, but he also has the lure of familiarity with the Spanish LaLiga to entice him into opting for Los Blancos instead.
Details of the report out of The Land of The Armada indicate that Chukwueze, who has totaled 72 appearances in the Spanish top-flight , of which 44 were starts, would love a move over to Santiago Bernabeu, but the lure of money in England appears to juicy to resist.
An additional report by Nigrian soccer website, allnigeriasoccer.com further revealed: “La Liga champions Real Madrid are interested in signing Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze but face competition from abroad.
“Spanish newspaper La Razon claims that two Villarreal players in the shape of Pau Torres and Chukwueze are transfer targets for Los Blancos. Manager Zinedine Zidane saw firsthand the qualities of the Nigeria international this past weekend when his side was held to a 1-1 draw by the Yellow Submarine.
“Manchester United have identified Chukwueze as an alternative if they fail to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho while Liverpool have been credited with an interest. Wolverhampton Wanderers join Everton, Chelsea and Leicester City as the other Premier League teams interested in signing the Super Eagles star.
“Given that Chukwueze has a release clause of 100 million euros, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are Real Madrid’s most serious competitors to sign the 2015 U17 World Cup winner because it is believed that the three Premier League giants have the financial means to trigger the clause.”
