Adrenal of England fast-rising youngster, Bukayo Saka has enacted yet another milestone, as his goal for The Gunners in their victory over Newcastle United shot him into the history books, just as the colleague who gave him the pass, Emile Smith Rowe, equally enacted a new feat.
Megasportsarena.com reports that both players hogged another level of headlines on Monday night, after they combined for another goal in The Gunners’ win over The Magpies, with various reports noting that Saka and his pal are taking the English Premier League by storm with assists.
Saka netted the second of the three goals, with his effort assisted by Rowe, as The Gunners ran out 3-0 winners over their visitors at Emirates Stadium, with captain of the London-based side, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hitting target twice on a night their team soared to 10th on the log.
In setting up his team-mate for his goal, Rowe was assisting Saka for the third time this season and, in doing so, the duo became the first English pair to combine for as many as three goals in the EPL before either of them reached the age of 21.
Rowe continues growing rapidly, since getting his breakthrough under The Gunners’ current coach and former captain, Mikel Arteta and, having made five starts in that timeframe, only Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United has crafted more than the youngster’s 10 chances.
Saka’s impact has also given a boost to the surge by Rowe, who revealed that Alexandre Lacazette is helping him develop at Arsenal and told Sky Sports: “I look up to him as a player. He is a great player and his stats are crazy so that is a good achievement.
“Playing together with him up top has helped me so much on and off the pitch. He has given me so much confidence. As we link up and play together he talks to me a lot and helps me off the pitch.”
