Former Wolverhampton Wanderers of England attacker, Bright Enobakhare has expressed delight with his conformed deal at AEK Athens of Greece, as he believes joining the 12-time Greek Super League champions is a major boost to his career, megasportsarena.com reports.
The Olympic Eagles battler admitted he is deeply thrilled to seal a deal with the Athens-based side so soon after he was released by Wolves, and promised to put in the very best of his efforts and ability, after putting pen to paper on a three-year contract that will run until the end of the 2022/23 season.
The exuberant lad, who was part of Nigeria’s squad to last year’s Africa U23 Cup of Nations in Morocco, said he went to the internet and social media to get some in-depth information about AEC before accepting their offer and he is now enthusiastic that it is a step forward in his career, which previously saw him play for time on loan at Kilmarnock, Coventry City and Wigan Athletic.
Enobakhare told his new club’s official website: “It is a great move and I am happy to be here. To be honest, I searched the internet, like YouTube, for how the team plays and trains, and I think it will fit my game play, so I’m happy to be here. I don’t want to talk about myself so much; I think the stadium will ‘talk’ about me.”
